• Explain the physiological benefits of dance-based cardiovascular exercise
• Demonstrate musicality, rhythm, and movement quality appropriate to dance fitness formats
• Identify key muscles and joints used in dance fitness movements
• Apply basic biomechanical principles to reduce injury risk
• Recognize movement patterns that support safe and efficient dance execution
• Learn and perform dance fitness choreography with proper technique
• Break down complex movements into simple, teachable components.
• Deliver clear verbal, visual, and rhythmic cues
• Understand musical phrasing, tempo, and structure
• Apply safety guidelines and recognize contraindications for dance fitness participation
• Modify choreography for different fitness levels, ages, and abilities
• Structure classes with warm-up, peak cardio, recovery, and cool-down phases
• Manage intensity using tempo, movement range, and layering
• Maintain professional conduct, ethics, and scope of practice.
Prerequisite(s)
• Should be able to read, understand and write basic English
• Should be over 18 years of age at the time of enrollment
• Must have Aadhar card
• Must have access to a tablet and/or laptop or smartphone
